January 2012

From Our President

Dear Camp Family,

Luanne and I greet you in the powerful name of Jesus. More than ever in our lives, we have experienced His continuing power, and we are not the same because of that power. “Amazing Grace” is more than a song. It is the gift of salvation, but it also is what we experience every new day. Just to think that God gave His Son to die, to provide grace we don’t deserve, to get us ready for Heaven, is sometimes overwhelming. But, we thank Him every day for that grace. We anticipate another blessed camp meeting. Our workers are ready, our street prayer meetings are in session, the campus is ready, and God wants to pour out His amazing grace once again. Our prayer is that there will be nothing in any of us that would hinder the work of the Spirit.

We look forward to seeing all of you once again, and anticipate amazing grace being poured out!

In the powerful name of Jesus,

-- Eldred Kelley

To all my friends at Avon Park,

Confidentially, I am suffering withdrawal from all my friends at Avon Park Holiness Camp! I have been in touch with just a few by email, but there are others who are not online. If you have an email address that I do not have, I would love to hear from you. My address is

roydett@gmail.com
I am so thankful that Esther and I had the privilege to be with you those years. I miss her so much, and I miss you.

God bless you, one and all.

Because of the crowd he told his disciples to have a small boat ready for him, to keep the people from crowding him.

The Strange Preacher's Kid

Why do we come to Jesus? Are we looking for miracles? for souvenirs? Or are we prepared to receive what he so desires to give us: life in Him and He in us now and forever.
